Horizontal Scrolling on 1280x960?

What the hell is this about?

I can understand if some prickhole decides he wasnt to say "HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA"...ad infinitum within a thread but is there any reason the thread listings at the top of each forum should make me horizontally scroll?



It's happening in AO and Suggestions, which are the only two forums I've checked.

    Browser/platform?



    Windows Internet Explorer has known mysterious problems with the forums that causes horizontal scrolling like that.

    Yes, IE on Windows does that to me. The actual thread pages are fine, but the main forum listing pages are ****ed up.

    IE6/WinXP



    Mozilla is fine.



    I wouldn't say anything if I was using Konqueror on Gentoo Linux, but this is the world.

    Mozilla is an awesome browser for Windows, I switched from IE in an effort to be able to use these forums on my Windows XP Pro machine.

    I know Mozilla is a great browser. It is my main browser.



    However, making things viewable in IE for Windows is smart because, as I said, it's the world.
