My Mac Keeps Freezing...

Help.



My iMac (G4700 w 1024mg Ram), continuously freezes when doing somewhat menial tasks. I was typing a document last night when it went - I had not opened up any other programs.



And it is not a program freeze - it is a complete system freeze. What could be causing such problems?



I would format - but I only have a Jag Upgrade CD (it came out shortly after I bought my computer) and I would rather wait for Panther.

    Does it freeze when you are not connected to a network? Try that. If it still freezes, try booting up your CD to run Disk Utility to Fix Permissions.
