G5 1.8 and the Retail 9800 pro Radeon card

Hi Everyone, I am new to this forum



Question: I had ordered a G5 1.8 with 2.5 gigs of ram and the 9800 radeon card to be put into the machine...



My local mac store told me that the Retail 9800 card WILL NOT FIT

into the G5 1.8 machine, has anyone had this probelm?



I find this hard to believe as Its a standard AGP 8x slot?



Please if anyone knows or has heard anything, it would be much appreciated.

    Yes, it will work. But only if you have an AA honor of 25 or higher.
