When I bought my new ATI card it came with an adapter, it works great. I have not seen a problem yet.
i think the ati radeons (especially the off-the shelf variety) have a vga and a dvi connection, and they come with one adapter for that dvi connection. the oem cards that come with the macs these days usually come with an adc and dvi connector, and we get one adapter in the box... a dvi to vga cable. but like on mine, i know my geforce4 ti can run dual displays... i just need a way to hook 'em both up. dr. bott is the onyl third party maker i know of that makes this adapter (though griffin might, as well).
