Wireless networking???

Ok so my house will soon have wireless networking... and most of the users are PCs ....I will soon be getting a new Powerbook... Has anyone ever had trouble getting their mac to link up with a pc network.... primarily i want to share net access... then be able to transfer files back and forth between the mac and pcs..... Should i be ok?

    Our modem is hooked up to our Dlink wireless 4 port router... it does all the work, all pcs can hook up to it as well as my powerbook. you have to turn on windows file sharing tho, in system preferences for the windows people to see your stuff, as well as they can't have all kinds of wierd firewalls one either.
