Why would you want to use an IPOD as an ImageTank, anyway? It's more cost efficient to actually get an ImageTank - the basic version is very cheap at around $100; you just need to add a notebook hard drive.

I have one if you're interested, BTW.
It's mainly a convinience thing:
I went to AppleExpo a few weeks ago and spent a couple of days in Paris. With me was my digital camera - nothing special - and my iBook. Since I don't own too many storage cards and the ones I do own are fairly small, I loaded the photos onto the iBook and cleared the card.
I am thinking about getting an iPod and I thought it would be nice to use it instead of the iBook. Small, light, everywhere I go - unlike the iBook that stayed at the hotel room all the time.
So, I thought I'd ask whether something usable was around - or whether someone would be interested in developing a solution with me. Though the last option will take a long time, since my studys, work and my girl friend all need to be taken care of and do not leave me with much time to spare. ;-)
