Venezuela, Chavez and the US, interesting read.

I know its old. Having the media all occupied with iraq sort of draws away the attention from other things. Yet Iraq and Venezuela are somehow linked by being founding members of opec. Recently Venezuela has desputed Iraq right to rejoin opec as it has no UN recognized government. At the same time the Government are blastin Spain and the US for medling in their affers and Chavez is claiming that the CIA is trying to assasinate him.
The article above is a good read, neither Pro-Chavez nor Pro-opposition. My guess is Venezuela has a very good chance of suddenly being headline news once more.
