iSight won't work with my new G5
My FireWire ports seem to be okay. I've used the rear FireWire 400 port for my iPod, and the front for connecting to my old G4 in FireWire Target Disk Mode. No problems with either.
Nothing I do, however, will make the iSight work on my G5. The green light comes on momentarily, I hear the auto-focus mechanism making noises, but then the light goes out and nothing more. iChat never believes I have a camera connected, nor does the Sound preference panel see the microphone part of the camera.
If I plug the iSight back into my old G4, it works fine.
