X-plane on dual G5

I have been playing with version 7.1 of x-plane. If I select extreme resolution and maximum weather visibility, the dual G5 is giving me about 17 frames per second when flying an R-22 helicopter. By comparison, the 500 MHz G3 PowerBook gives me about one frame every 3 seconds under the same conditions (that is before x-plane tells me the frame rate is too low and starts to automatically reduce weather visibility to bring the frame rate up). A 50x improvement is not bad.

The PowerBook only has 8 MB of video RAM versus 128 MB on the G5, so I am sure that is a significant factor here.
