iChat AV ?Pro??
iChat AV ?Pro??
Most of us use iChat for text based chat. It allows 2 people to chat with each other, or for a group of people to chat in a ?room?. Big deal, right?
iChat A/V is similar, but adds the ability to chat using text AND a camera/mic (like the iSight). BUT: It does NOT allow multiple users to creaet a ?room? and chat (except for text chat). Thus you cant have 4 or 5 pals or business partners in a ?room? and expect to hear them all at the same time.
My question: Will iChat A/V ever have a ?Pro? version which will allow a group of users to share a ?room? for group voice-based conversations? You know, like a VoIP conference call?
I want this feature for games. There are not many options:
RogerWilco died after OS 9. No OS X version.
NetFone wont work with 3 or more users (no ?server? product for group calls YET)
TeamSpeak can?t seem to decide if they will ever make a Mac version. Grrr?
I THINK MSN for PC now has a microphone feature for group chat.
