Musicmatch music store

Since the iPod for windows uses Musicmatch, I would assume once the iTunes Music Store for Windows comes out, iPods for will then use iTunes for Windows instead of Musicmatch. Apple does really need to hustle the release for windows users. What was the expected release date? Oct?
