Broken ibook CD drive
i have an 600mhz ibook (dual USB) with a CD-Rom drive.
in the last week or so it stopped reading any media (Audio cd's, data and any burned content) im wondering if there is a way to tell if the drive is broken, or there is some other problem (OS related)
i have 10.2.8 installed but it was having the problem in 10.2.7 also.
Had the motherboard replaced in july (faulty graphics chip)
but drive was working normally after that
cd spins up in the drive but wont show on desktop
(finder prefs. set to show cd's)
any help would be great
