Can we have a UNIX forum, please? I'm all geeked out after my victory over /etc/tty last night and I'm feeling like OS X's UNIX-y stuff isn't talked about enough. What do you all think?
Unfortunately, we create forums in response to a burgeoning number of posts on a topic. It keeps the place from getting too balkanized. I know there are a number of UNIX geeks here, though, so a thread in OS X could probably get some momentum. Obviously, since OS X is a UNIX (if not a UNIX(TM)), anything related to Terminal jockeying is on topic there.

I know that terminal related stuff is fair game in OS X, but what about X11 stuff? Is it software or it is OS X? I understand the need for consolidation of fora, but I wonder how much pent-up demand there is for this idea. I'd go to MacNN for this, but that place blows.
