Invalid Sibling Link

Ok, today I start up an iBook that I am repairing for a customer and really loud noises are coming from the hard drive. We ran Disk Utility from my external hard drive and got Invalid Sibling Link 4928



Any help?

    I got Invalid Sibling Link on my powerbook awhile back and AppleCare said that the only way to fix it is either a clean install or with Disk Warrior 3.



    DW3 did repair it....but I still did a clean install.

    Well I think the hard drive needs to be replaced. It doesn't even show up as a hard drive in Disk Utility anymore when I run it off of the install CD.
