    I think he tells her something about herself she didn't really know but that he saw in her... why he fell in love with her... something that makes her feel strong.



    I think there's a metaphor for how she's feeling in that... she went to one temple and felt nothing (looking outside herself for direction)... and later goes to another... sees the Japanese wedding ceremony... and does feel something...

    I saw it last week. A really great movie. Absoulutely hilarious.

    I think what he tells her at the end is pretty obviously that he will leave his wife, but it's not made clear to avoid a cheezy ending (thank god!)
