Best LCD flat panel for design?
I'm going to purchase a 19" or 20" (if I can afford it) flat panel to my new 1ghz 12.1" AlBook.
My research has brought me to three contenders:
Samsung 19" flat panel
Planar 19" flat panel
ViewSonic 20" flat panel
Any opinions on which brand might offer the best experience on the Mac? I'll be using the monitor for everything from web surfing to photo retouching in Photoshop. So sharpness and color correctness are important. I'm not a "high-end professional" in the sense that I need the most expensive monitor out there -- I just want the very best possible solution for as far under $1,000 as I can get it.

p.s. I noticed the Samsung and Viewsonic can "pivot" from horizontal to landscape mode. On the PC, software supports the pivot function. Is there any way to pivot the output from Macintosh?
