RevB 12" PowerBook speed increase?

Reviews comparing the RevA 12" G4 PowerBook with 15" TiBooks and 17" AlBooks found it considerably slower, usually faulting the small guy's lack of level 3 cache and wimpy video card. The revB 12" PowerBook shares 512k of level 2 cache with its bigger brothers and sports a slighlty better graphics card. My question is, do you think these revisions have significantly shortened the speed gap between the models (even given a slower processor and hard drives)?
