The only thing I don't like about this, is the big receiver you have to have plugged in
Is there a reason why someone wouldn't have made one?
Be FOREWARNED.
I too thought this would be a great mouse. An indeed the form is very nice. And the way the adapter tucks into the mouse is ingenious.
However, I use an iBook. iBooks have the USB ports on the left. I am a righty. The signal for this mouse is a 3 foot range (to date) but this does not factor in the width of the iBook.
The mass between the adapter and the mouse is enough to block the signal enough to cause errant mousing. Trust me.
I was able to alleviate the problem somewhat by using a PodiumPad (which I use regardless because they are 100% great), but not enough to be usable. I'm now with a one button Apple wireless and not missing a thing, with its 33 foot range. (Aside: Please, make FinderPop for Mac OS X!) Rock solid signal. Thank you Apple, back to the drawing board Kensington. Caveat emptor!
If you are interested in the Kensington, demand that you be allowed to try it on your laptop in store. I'm not sure about other PowerBooks, I think some have the USB in back, which might ease or eliminate the problem. And lefties will be fine of course, if using iBooks or anything with USB on the left.
For what it's worth, the Contour Mini Pro mice are outstanding in many respects but not wireless alas.
Still, give it a look. It has a unique 2nd button that is not on the right. In fact it's perfectly symmetrical, with the second button being behind the main button, so you can click or right-click, all with the same finger. Can't see why this isn't the industry standard. You'll love it if you try it for a bit.
One button is fine. I'm not much for wireless keyboards or mice, but a nice donglelessly integrated BT solution seems like just the ticket for laptop users.
Now if Apple were really as brave as they like to sometimes pretend, they'd integrate portable card reader and optional USB2.0 cable. Presto, mousepod!

And it has a button that will be PERFECT for Expose.
See it here.
And if you don't need the extra buttons, the plain 'ol Cordless Click should suffice.
Cordless click
I'd have thought someone would have made a Bluetooth notebook mouse so that someone wouldn't have to.
