Now my family (dad's side) is 90% Mac base
Three years ago the ratio of Mac/PC in my family (including uncles, brothers, aunts on my father's side) was 10/90
Now the ratio is reversed.....90/10
All relatives on my dad's side are quite open to new stuff. They were suffered by the virus problem they had in the last three years. File losses, OS failure etc....and my brother's case is worse. Got two nasty virus/worm twice in the last three years and the hardware got completely trashed and forced to buy a new one. Last week....THE THIRD one......He then came to me and said "NO MORE!".....he asked me how to acquire a Mac for reasonable price. Then I did a search and found out a guy that I have known for years was getting rid of his G4 (DA) 533 (with 640MB RAM, 2x60GB HD, Combo Drive).....after an hour of bargain I finally got it for $800CDN
Now the only one left on my dad's side is my youngest aunt. She's an accountant and she knows about the virus problem but she has to run all the accounting apps. Can't blame her.
In a huge contrast, my mom's side is very very different. They are stubborn, very very stubborn. Afraid to try new stuff. And not to mention....very bitchy. This side is 100% Windows based.....should I call my mom's side "The Dark Side" ????
Or yeah....I know it's not a good idea but I am going to ask anyway
I find a lot of Japanese porn sites don't really display or function properly on any Mac browsers (epsecially to those sites that host WMP files with heavy DRM)......My brother has a lot of membership with those sites and he would be very mad at me if he can't see anything.....anyone know how to deal with this?

Yes you should. You should also keep trying to convert them. Hey, even Darth Vader folded in the end. I'm sure when faced with certan death even a die hard peecee user will join us on the good side.
