reading dvd+r discs

In addition to my powerbook, I have a windows 2000 machine that I use to burn DVDs--up to this point mainly in the +R format (as opposed to -R). I can't get Jaguar to recognize any DVD+R burned disc. I've heard rumors that Panther will fix this, but it's kind of a matter in need of a quicker solution. Are there any 3rd party programs/firmware upgrades/tricks that will let me read the +R format?

I doubt it. I believe the combo drives can only read what the super drives can burn. I could be completly wrong about this, if I am, sorry. Like you said, Jaguar can't do it. Panther may be able too. Thats the current situation though.
