a few questions, i just started using this app. a few days ago.

first, which wigets do you guys use the most, and why do you use them? i've downloaded some, but there's hundreds to wade through and i figure if someone else has already done the legwork, i can save some time.

also, is some way to lock the wigets in place so that expose doesn't move them when you're trying to get windows off your screen?

it makes konfabulator much more useful if you can just kick all the regular windows out of the way and get to the wigets.

well, there is an option in the prefernces in most of the widgets (control-click) and if you set them to desktop, they will not be able to be moved at all.... this makes it tricky to close them or select them..to do that, go to the Konfabultor menu and option-select the desired item.....

I dont know if this helps because i dont got me exposé at the momento

I went a little 'Widget Crazy' when I first downloaded Konfab, and my desktop ended up looking like a Dollar Store. So I've narrowed it down to Calender, Text Clock and What To Do? The latter is the most helpful to me, as I have a list of meetings, invoicing, etc. that I can arrange by priority.

I'm not privy to the wonders of Expose yet, but I imagine if you set each widget preference to 'desktop' they wouldn't move around. I have Cal & Clock set that way and it's great. No accidental bumping.

even set to "desktop" the widgets still move with expose. perhaps konfab will fix this after 10.3 actually comes out.

It's too subjective. What do you do? What would you like to do?

So many varied uses. Have Airport? Maybe use the big Airport signal widget. Have a friend/loved one on the other side of the planet? Set a weather widget for their city, so you can chit chat about rain or heat etc. They'll get a kick out of it.

I wish they could all be placed in a window, as if in a toy chest, to contain them and move them all as one.
