Problem Installing X.2

I had X.2 come with my Imac, but i broke the disc. I am trying to reinstall it, from an image I acquired, but when i burnt it, it will not be read as a startup disc. Therefore, I cannot install the software, any workarounds? Possibly something I am doing wrong when burning with toast? Any help is appreciated. thanks

    Mount the disk image, select Disk Image mode in Toast, drop the volume's icon on it, click Settings and check Bootable.

    Device copy also helps if you have a bootable CD.
