This may have been posted before I only did a quick scan but when I went to apple's web site I noticed that the new PB G4's come not only with slot loading DVD/CD-RW drives but with DDR ram!

This is great news for the rest of the lineup...it probably means we'll get it in the new desktops, and most likely in the new flat screen iMacs...

apparantly I am blind, it seems they have DDR VIDEO ram. It's still good, but not as good as getting rid of SDRAM forever.

Hasn't the Radeon always had DDR-RAM?

    Yes, think so too.

The problem with DDR RAM for main memory in a notebook is that there are not yet any small outline DDR modules on the market, and this will probably only change once the PC side is about to get DDR too.
