Those helpful little rubber thingies...

You know those little rubber foot-pads on the bottom of iBooks and PowerBooks? Well, where can I get a replacement? I have had my baby (my PB) since valentine's day, and one of the little rubber feet recently decided to depart. In order to be able to type without the charachteristic "wobble" i have taped paper to the bottom, but I'd really prefer to have another pad for it... you know... something a little classier than a chunk of paper with painter's tape on it. 8) So yeah... any ideas? \

Do you have an Apple Store nearby? They'll replace it for you.

Since it's still under warranty call AppleCare and they'll send you a pack of them and a little tube of super glue.

I had one of those fall off at some unknown date and literally weeks later it turned up on my bedroom floor. I'm sure it has wonderful stories to tell of all the amazing adventures it had and friends it met on its journey, but I just want to know what I should use to stick it back on. What's good for permanently bonding rubber to plastic?

A soldering iorn... slightly melt the foot and the case and then squish them together in a vice for a few mins until they cool down...

That was a very good question.. asked in a silly way.

But fine. I'll just read all the glue labels myself, and when I find one that works, I ain't tellin nobody!

    Apple recommends Krazy Glue.

(that's what they send you, anyway)
