    Bah. I actually had an 'awakening' myself tonight. I was at my local micro, and my gf decided to tag along. OK, I thought, that's nice. Well, the bartenderess was leaving shift, and lugging a case of short-fills out to the car. My gf leaned over and said "You want Grey to help you with those? He could use the exercise".



    WTF???!!! Holy Christ On A Stick was I pissed. Had I mentioned something about how at least beer only affected men ABOVE the waist she would have STFU, but I didn't........yet.

    Relax guys! Your 30's and 40's are a breeze!



    I just went to a birthday party on Sunday for a close friend ( and the guy I work with ) of 35 years. Yes you heard right. We met in high school. I've known him since 1969.



    Well we both turned 50 this year. I've never had any problems with 30 or 40. But 50 was a sobering thought for both of us. Less years ahead than behind etc. However we had the same thought about it. Now that it's come and gone we really don't feel so bad (certainly not the way we thought 50 would feel ).



    It's all about what state your mind is in.



    Trust me there is life after 30.
