If iTunes is set to come out for Windows on Oct. 16, does anyone think this is going to cause a slowdown for those of us who use the Mac site? What I'd hate to see happen is the system gets overloaded, and then people stop using it. Or won't this happen?

My best guess would be no. I don't see anything like this happening. You'll notice a general slowdown the first few days after it comes out, but thats just because wintell users will be fascinated by how cool it is and be wondering how they ever lived without iTMS (and a Mac). However, after a few days everything will return to normal and life will be good as usual for us Mac users.
