Justin Timberlake-not so bad(!)

I'm kinda digging him on SNL. He's seems to be having fun in the skits, and the two songs he's done were kinda groovy, like Stevie Wonder before he decided to do all ballads all the time.

I'm the first to change a radio when a boy band comes on, but I've been pleasantly surprised tonight.

I want to throw a frozen water bottle at his head. It is that bad, period.

    A frozen water bottle?

I've been annoyed by the usual lukewarm-at best-sketches, but I thought he was doing about as good as he could with it, and having the band behind him took the over-production of his first couple songs off. "Cry Me A River" isn't working as a rock tune as well, though.

Still, my very low expectations have been surpassed. The guy just seems likeable.

Ahh, I'm just in a mood. Staying awake at this point probably isn't doing much for my health. Off to bed.

He went up in my estimation when he appeared on the british show Top of the Pops, dressed as a dolphin and playing bass for the Flaming Lips.

My friend told me this the other day.

"Before you can actually refute this with evidence don't say anything, but I hear the Justin Timberlake album is pretty good, as gay as that sounds."

Still havent' heard it but I am worried I may like it.

The way he did the songs on SNL had a real cool 70's soul vibe. Think the horn sample on Crazy in Love. I don't like the radio versions near as well.

Sweet, I'm not getting raked over the coals in this thread like I expected to!
