That's awesome! My dad had one of those cars, and he ended up with over 200,000 on it.

I had the same car but a few years newer. I got the 5 speed in mine, so I went through a few clutches. Still a very reliable vehicle though.

    Definitey great cars, man!

94' Dodge Caravan. Had some transmission problems, but they were under warranty. Now it runs really well. I'm happy with it.

Eeegads. I thought I'd never see the day when American made cars broke 100k.

American made '89 Ford Mustang 4 cyl auto, 167K and counting. Nary a problem with it other than the paint flaking off.

'88 Nissan Stanza 200,000+ with almost all OME

'00 Nissan Altima 100,000+ runs great

Something 'bout Nissan. we used to have a '85 maxima that talked, it was amazing, my mom got t-boned in it, and the car was literally at a 45 degree angle, the car somehow managed to get my mom home before the car blew up into smoke and the car said "please check engine" LOL

Of course Nissan has gotten the Wards choice award for best engine 9 years running. And their new maxima is SWEET! Seats that remember your position, seats that pull back and turn towards you when you open the door so you can get in easier. automatic window curtains for those in the back so the sun does not get on their shoulders, a sunroof that runs through the top so both the front and back passengers have a sunroof, 270 horsepower engine... drools

Ah! International! A buddy of mine in high school had the Travelall, the monster that made a Suburban look small.

One night we piled 37 people into it for $5-a-carload night at the drive-in.

My dad had a Chevy Celebrity back in the 80's that made it to 130k flawlessly before he sold it. Since then, he's had a number of GM's that are rock-solid.

But the real winner. . . My friend from high school has a 1985 Mercedes 300TD Diesel that is approaching 500,000 miles.

    1988 Lincoln Mark VII - 347,000 miles.

Bought it from the original owner at 200,000 miles, as he was concerned about the problem with the head gasket. Six years later, and I'm still waiting for the engine to die.
