    I like how they say "fade out the 50k editing system" and then have what looks to be a 50k HD monitor in the picture.

    Looks to be a CRT to me. That's probably about $25K worth of equipment though all those carriages in that Xserve RAID could add a few thousand to the final price. Of course we don't know how much software there is in that set-up.

    The funniest thing is looking at the picture and seeing all the equipment, and still seeing the apple pro mouse....At least it is laughable to me...

    Can't really tell from that picture, but it really looks like one of the Sony HD monitors we have at work. It also looks like a digibeta deck in the rack, those are prolly going for 28k used now and actually the console prolly costs 4k

    well, the 50K is in reference to the price of an AVID system itself.



    having the rest of that stuff there is to show you all the cool stuff you could buy with the 49K you saved by getting FCP.
