I'm looking for a 3D CAD program that supports testing for stress weaknesses... anyone know of any good ones that won't take me forever to learn?

    Question is too broad.

What do you mean by stress..?

What type of stress ? torsion ? etc etc

    What materials ?

It also depends on what OS you are running or intenting to run....

to be honest, this isn't something the mac isn't too hot on. On the windows/unix side, you might want to check out diana (soil stress) solidworks, inventor or solid edge. All expensive though.

Anyone know of cheaper and/or mac based programmes that can do stress testing?
