Font Book auto-activation?

I've gotten spoiled to Suitcase and it's auto-activation features/plug-ins. When opening this or that design project for fonts to open automatically is not only cool, but necessary. Does anyone know if Panthers Font Book will auto-activate? I'm jonezing for Font Book, I hope it does.

    Nope, sorry. At its present iteration, Apple's Font Book will not auto-activate fonts. If enough users squeak about it though, it may happen in the future.

    Thanks wanderlust. Hmmm that a bummer, but makes me wonder. Does Font book have technologies much like Safari and its web kit API's (forgive me if I'm stating the wrong lingo) that developers can tap into?
