10-client 10.3 Server questions

I assume the 10-client license for OS X Server only gives me one license of OS X? That is, I'm not getting a license to put OS X on a client, I just get a license to connect to OS X with 10 clients?

Are there any serious benefits to getting a server license if all I want to do is some simple server work for myself and some friends and family?

I have an iMac and an iBook, and would like both to upgrade to 10.3, and I'm probably going to get the family pack.

Any gotchas with going the family pack route and doing some server work?
