How much is my dad's iMac worth now?

My dad, after seeing the new "iLuxo" he says he is going to get rid of his iMac to go for the new one



But he first has to get rid of the old one first.



Here's the spec of his iMac



Graphite DV SE

400Mhz G3

384MB RAM

40 GB HD

Airport

Apple Care til Sep 2003



How much do you think he can sell it for?

    I think the value of it just when down by about $400.

    Well, the 600 MHz iMacs at the Apple Store just went from $1999 CDN to $1549 CDN Leonis, that's a $450 CDN drop just like that.



    Unfortunately, that also kicks the tar out of your dad's resale value.



    (I wonder if I'm going to get an angry email from the guy who just paid me $1725 US for a 600 MHz Combo Drive iBook?)
