The new design of the $20 bill is ridiculous

I have never seen such an ugly note.

I dont mind the blue eagle on the left, but the MS Word like "Twenty" on the right is so cheesy looking. I also miss the oval portraint around Andrew Jackson. It just seems weird ...

The little yellow 20s stamped on the back is absolutely ludicrous. Its hard to believe with the infinite ways colors could be used they chose the cheesiest ways possible.

There can be a protective design and good taste!

I thought a link wouldn't be needed since this should be appearing in our everyday lives.

Discuss about the bills! Not how I misspelled a word while rushing!

    I love them.

    Your money will be assimilated.

    MUAHAHAHA

Actually, they are ugly. No where near the quality use of colour our money has. Your $20 looks ritarded.

As long as it spends like 20 dollars then I'm ok with it.

i, for one, am more annoyed at how much money they are sinking into these ad campaigns "promoting" the new twenty. not just educating the public, but also trying to get them to "like" it. it's the most assinine thing i have ever seen. if you tell me it sepnds like $20, then i'll use it. i don't "like" it any better or any worse than the old ones.

like jon stewart said, "leave it up to the government to spend $30 million on promoting twenty bucks."

    Your $20 looks retarded.

at least it's useful for more than wiping my ass though, mr. funny Canadian.

Persoanlly I don't think it looks to bad...*comapring to Canadian 20*

The bold "20" looks more like the Canadian bill's "20"

    its clearer.

What I don't like is the cheesy font used for "The United States of America" on both sides as well as the other 20s floating around on it.

Its an improved bill I think...more colour is more attractive in this case...it certainly doesn't look "ritarded".

    However alcimedes

I can't recall ever using the Canadian paper currency to "wipe my ass"...in fact I often use it to purchase fine Canadian products and incredibly cheap American ones.

My bank teller let me touch one (she only had one) last Tuesday, and after close inspection I can honestly say that in real life...they look like ass. Colors are very dull, and I literally laughed out loud when I saw the randomly sprinkled little yellow 20s on the back. Yuk.

Dude, you need to edit your sig too. We had a little bet on how long the spelling error there would last... I'll have to check what the pot's at.

Those little yellow "20"s on the back are symbols of Reagan's "Trickle Down" economics in action...

When I first saw the bill, I thought someone had left it in the wash...

Just goes to show you the absolute decline in art/design these days...

Different sizes would suck. The wallet industry would, however, boom.

If you want to see flaky looking money, go to Australia.

Of course, the fact that it's made of plastic does make it pretty fooking hard to duplicate.

Tonight I saw one in person for the first time when I delivered a pizza to somebody who paid with one. I didn't think they were coming out so soon and it was dark so I thought they put it through the laundry with new jeans. But yeah, the little 20s on the back are quite ugly.
