Just wondering what people are waiting to buy from Apple - anyone hanging on for the next revision of the G5 range or an updated iBook maybe?

And it'll be Christmas soon - going to wait or going to spend? You decide....

Now that I have my iMac, and the iPod can be used as a digital wallet, I'm happy . Of course, I'll be even happier when I actually get the iPod and card reader .

So I'm not actually waiting for anything.

I always try to wait for revision 'B' or later, so I'm holding off on getting a tower.

I was going to sell my 15" and upgrade to a 17" revision 'B' powerbook, but the lack of an L3 cache is disturbing. That L3 cache makes a big difference in audio, and I've been reading some reports that the new model is no faster, and sometimes even slower, then the last model. So I guess I'll just have to wait for a revision 'C' 17" powerbook to come out.

    Money.

I will buy when I have money.

The amount of money I have plus my patience level will determine what I buy.

A middle of the line dual PM G5. It's going to take me about six months to convince SWMBO that I really do need a new computer, so I'm hoping the speed will be something like 2.25GhZ or better then.

I'm waiting for the queue of more important purchases to be emptied (since my Cube is still doing a great job as a primary machine). A couple of big changes will be coming up in a few months, looks like, so I'll have to see how those shake out.

When I can, I'll buy whichever of the iBook or the PowerBook looks better to me at the time.

My willpower to give out, and the addition of a Dual 2GHz G5 to my credit card balance.

I was strong for so long, but I am fading...

I've decided that I will buy my first Apple when I can get a G5 PowerBook or iBook for $1399. I'm prepared to wait

I figure by the time the G5 PowerBook comes out, my iBook will be over two years old, and I can justify upgrading. I'd be willing to spend $3000 on a PowerBook if it had a G5.
