I noticed when I ordered it, and for a few days after, under ship date it said "10/24 Evening delivery",now it says it will ship on or before 10/24 instead.
Speaking of OS X delivery dates, I bought the Up-To-Date version for my G5 over the phone... when am I going to get my copy? Since I cant check my status online... i am really hoping that I get it the 24th... should I just call back on that number and ask them?
I ordered the G5 Up-To-Date on-line and I'm still being told on or before Oct. 21st, the same thing I was told when I placed the order. I did add expidited shipping 'cause I'm eager (though part of me still wants to make a fuss for paying for shipping when I'm supposed to already be paying for S&H).
Correct me if I am wrong, bt does it not say on or before 24th October. I am hoping for before, only time will tell.
Yes, but now it says that is when it will ship.. so if it shipped on the 24th(not arriving on it) then that would be different than it saying Evening Delivery on the 24th.
I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed if theirs had changed.... it may mean nothing.. I ordered a cube video card once on a friday evening around 5pm. I got it the next day(saturday).. and on monday, it still said it hadnt shipped yet.(was still saying est 3 business days). so who knows.
last year I recieved Jaguar the day before the release. what a pleasant surprise to come home from work and have my new OSX ready to install a day ahead.
BTW, my shipping also changed to on or before 24th.

Anyone else get this? Maybe Apple will do some magical same day shipping, otherwise I doubt I'll see Panther by 8 PM on Friday (which actually is ok since I'll be busy busy all weekend). I wonder if this is just for the Up-To-Date orders or for everyone?
And it looks like Apple is fixing everyone's ship dates on-line: when I tried to check my order to see if it said the same thing as that e-mail I just got the page won't load and I got the message:
Now it is back up and says "on or before the 24th" again. Out of sheer curiosity, I called the Apple Store and the guy there said they were still committed to getting it to everyone on Friday. He also mentioned that he has no idea how they are planning on doing that and are placing bets on how this is going to happen. Hey, maybe if you call in now, you can get in the pool as well!

Did not receive any response from application. It is possible that the application does not exist, or that the requested url is incorrect.
I had chose standard shipping.
In the notification it said it would take 2 to 5 days for it to arrive.
Seeing that is is being shipped from the west coast and I am located on the east coast, I figured I would not get until early next week.
Then when I checked my order at the Apple Store it
said it was being shipped today, Fed Ex 2 day.
I may just get it on Friday after all!!
