Cradle charging issue

Having some issues with my iPod charging. I am using the new 20GB ipod with the dock and a firewire card. I throw it in and shows the battery icon moving, but when i unplug it, it shows that it hasnt charged more than it was before. I unplugged the firewire plug from the back of my box and threw it in the AC adapter. Don't think i should really need to do this, but I would like to take it to UNIV tomorrow, and have a long day.



I have the newest firmware, which seems to not be as good as the previous version......



any suggestions?
