Panther and Disk Copy?

I'm running Build 7B85 and am wondering if Disk Copy vanished? When I launch a Disk Image, it now says it's opening it through Preview. Did my trusty Disk Copy bite the dust? If so, what other apps allow you to burn a Disc Image to CD other than Toast?

Well then, I'll be backing Disk Copy to a CD before I install Panther. When I get a game, I copy it to a .dmg so I don't have to go through the hassle of locating the CD-ROM.

Disk Copy is no more in Panther, reportedly it is now integrated into Finder under a different name. But I can't figure out how to make disk images with it.

Disk Images are now mounted with DiskImageMounter, which is hidden in some library folder (probably in CoreServices or something). If you want to create a disk image, open Disk Utility. The functionality has been moved to that utility.

Yeah, use Disk Utility. Only thing that I don't like is that the Disk Utility icon is lame to keep in my dock.

Yeah disk utility works fine for burning images and creating them.

By the way, why don`t you just change the icon if its to lame?
