turn off smooth scroll on the fly.

found a cool feature by mistake. smooth scrolling is turned off when you have the caps lock key on (at least in safari). makes sense to be able to turn it on and off quickly without having to open system prefs. nice.

    Doesn't work here...and it's probably a bug...not a feature. And no...it doesn't make sense to be able to toggle such a feature on and off, especially not with caps lock.

    Why wouldn't it make sense to be able to disable this with a shortcut? There's a shortcut for turning on/off zooming, contrast (in Panther), and white on black...

    i dunno if it's a bug. but it works on both of my powerbooks. i can see it making sense if you're viewing very graphics intensive webpages where smooth scrolling seems to go a little slower.
