Mozilla Firebird help

Hey everyone. Just downloaded Mozilla Firebird and messing around with it for awhile to see how I like it. It's pretty nice and fast too, but for some reason scroll bars do not appear on the bottom or side of the window. I've been using the down button but is there a way to turn on the scroll bars? I looked through the preferences and couldn't find anything. I understand that it's supposed to have a simple and light interface but scroll bars aren't that much of a clutter!

    firebird unexpetidly quits when i download so i think it must be buggy

    Yeah, I just gave up and went back on *Safari.
