For those experiencing sound EQ distortions and batter management problems with their iPods please give Apple some feed back here. http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipod.html



More people that does it, the faster we will get a better firmware addressing these problems thanks. Let the word out.

    Well, I haven't experienced the EQ distortions, I have noticed that the battery management is kinda weird and does need to be corrected along with some other general fixes.



    The battery must be a difficult for hardware/software engineers to get right, because these battery issues have been going on forever with the iPod.

    The EQ on the iPod is USELESS. Here is why. It does not have a fscking amp adjustment (the leftmost slide in iTunes EQ.) This means when you turn the bass up it doesn't turn the master volume down and therefore distorts the bass.

    Yea, that sucks. Are there other mp3 players that allow you to do this?

    Is it possible to add a amp adjuster with a upgrade?
