Bizarre partitioning result
I partitioned my HD into 3 sections. 2 of them for OS X and the 3rd one is a 2GB partition for classic. I installed OS 9 (and nothing else) on the 2GB partition and when it was done, it said I only had around 900MB left. However, when I go into OS X and look at the partition drive on the desktip, it says I have almost 1.7GB free.
Anybody have a clue as to what is going on or where I can get some info to fix this?
Thanks in advance to all who answer.

DMBand0026,
No. When I get info on the HD while in classic, it says I only have around 30MB free. However, when I'm in OS X and get info on the classic drive, it says I have 815.2MB free which is correct based on loading OS 9 on the partition and some files I transfered to it.
Thanks for your response.
Check out what HD you have choosen for virtual memory... and how much. (while in classic of course, Memory control panel)

ZO,
I fixed the problem by dragging a folder with approx. 128MB of data from OS X (while in OS X) to the classic drive. It took it with no problems. Next, I booted back into OS 9 and the harddrive available space is now correct.
Thanks anyways for your repsonse.
