It appears that ProTools will not work with Panther. I tried launching it from a fresh install and a previous install and it causes the machine to crash, forcing a restart.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Digidesign says they'll have a Panther update in mid- november.
So if it goes like the original osx update, it really means november 2005.

I just bought an Mbox and was wondering about Panther compatibility.
Heh, didn't really research it, I just had the opportunity to buy a new one cheap and threw my money down.
Looks like I'll be waiting awhile to use it with my 12"PB
No great loss though since I sit in front of a fully blown Pro Tools rig for 8-16 hours a day.
