Is there any way to make Secure Empty Trash the default setting for deleting files instead of the traditional erase-file-name-from-the-directory method?
Not that I know of, but why would you want to. Unless you are working with a lot of sensitive documents. Secure empty trash takes so much longer, it's not even worth it unless you absolutely need to. If you do, it looks like your stuck doing it manually for now.
