making 10.3 computer a drive on 10.2

Hello. I have a laptop running 10.3 that I tried to connect via firewire with the holding down the "T" key while booting it up. The computer does its normal firewire blue screen but it does not appear on my 10.2.8 desktop as a drive that I can access.



Anyone know how to make this work? Can 10.3 computers be accessed by Jaguar computers like it used to be?

    The OS on the target computer (the one you're pressing T on) shouldn't have any affect on whether or not it shows up. There's something else wrong here.
