PowerBook Part Numbers

Hi all,



Im wonder where I can find part numbers for a first gen (non dvi) 667 Ti Powerbook?



or if anyone knows them, im looking for the part numbers for:



DVD/ CD Drive



or the



DVD/ CDRW Drive

    You can download a Service Manual that will have part numbers.

    ok this is a cool resource but the pdf didnt have the part numbers in it.



    here's another question.



    The system profiler says i have this drive installed: Matshita DVD-ROM SR-8187



    but everytime is see this drive from sale at a mac parts resaler, or on ebay, the desc. says the drive is only for the 550 below power book. eg. not the gigabit ethernet 667.



    does anyone know if the cd/dvd drives are the same in the orig Ti book and the gigabit (non dvi) 667 powerbook?

    If you open the PDF and click on Exploded view, you'll see the part numbers.

    are you looking at this one or a different one? 'exploded view' isnt included in the index in this file.

    Just checked my Powerbook, it's a G4/400 and has the same: Matshita DVD-ROM SR-8187 drive. The Apple part number for this drive is 661-2538
