Panther sold out

Crap. I went to the UofM computer store to pick up panther. Sold out. I had to put an "order" in to make sure they'd save one for me next week.

    A friend of mine got a copy today. He said they only had six total copies, but they'll be getting more next week. They weren't supposed to have any for like two weeks.

    Yea that's what cute girl behind the counter said. I got my money down. They can't give my copy away.

    Considering Noleli2's "From:" field says UMich, I'd say M stands for Michigan.

    Yes you can. The Apple online government store ships Panther for $64.50 plus about $2 in tax. This applies to all government employees, state and federal.



    Don't ask me why government employees pay less than students though.

    I wandered into Ulrichs yesterday and they still had jaguar in boxes.

    Here is a question.... On the night of Panther, I asked if I could get a student discount at my local Apple Store, and they said no! I certainly qualify and if I go to apple.com it lets me choose it for 69 bucks... So did he just not know what he was talking about, or is this only available for this price online or at universities? Thanks.

    The Apple stores only sell hardware at educational prices. To get software at educational prices you either have to order online or get it on campus.
