What is the Best Back-Up Software?
What is the Best Back-Up Software that will do everything I want it to?
1) I want to do a one-time back-up of the following to install it all onto a new Mac:
- Files/Folders
- Konfabulator Stuff
- iTunes Music
- IE Preferences/Favourites/Bookmarks
- System Preferences/Settings
There's probably more stuff, but you get the general idea. I want to completely re-create my current Mac on a new Mac.
2) I want to use my iPod as the external hard drive that I back-up to.
3) I want to use the same back-up software to do daily back-ups to an external (80GB) FireWire drive that I intend to buy. (Feel free to explain Panther-Lacie issues here...)
Thank You

P.S. Using the iPod as a backup boot drive is not recommended. It's doable...but you can burn the drive mechanism out.

I spose I better plan to buy my LaCie sooner rather than later then?
