removing multiple entry copies from calenders and contacts

When i sync I get multiple copies of the same entries in my contacts and also my holidays on my calenders. Is there a script for entourage that would remove them? I am tired of seeing Halloween, Christmas, and Easter 20 times over 3 days!!!

    There used to be a program that could sift through folders looking for duplicate files etc.



    If I remember correctly, it could be configured to eliminated all such unwanted duplicates automatically or at the end of an advisory prompt.
