spicing up the look of an eMac - a few ideas
OK I was reading about somebody wanting to personalise their eMac and I came up with a few ideas, but since the original thread is closed (cos of car lovers I presume) I had to start a new thread.
Personally I think the eMac looks all futuristically retrostically cool in its origial form. But if you have to tinker with it here are a few ideas to get you started:
Look at it and think of what does the shape and form suggest to you? then try to build on it.
IMO the eMac looks like a top of a NASA rocket or a nuclear warhead or a some sort of a cool hyperdrive engine. How about making some stickers to make the eMac look like the authentic article, like above, imagine a nuclear warhead baddged eMac with a cool countdown flashy screensaver, definately would freak some people out. Could come back home to find it surrounded by the bomb squad!
hehe... ok I am getting carried away.
Finaly, incase u r wondering HTF do I make stickers? u can get A4 sized sticker paper and print out your your sticker designs on your printer - but u probably already knew that.

Just pimp the thing. Like, get neon mod lights and some glow in the dark paint, and make it look like something that would be at home on a mad scientist's desk.
Oh, and add one of those big-ass sci-fi breaker switches.

Im in Australia we have a maga stationery store chain called OfficeWorks, they are huge and have lots of stuff. I suggest you look in a similar type shop.
Since most of the stuff downunder is from the US anyway you probably have OfficeWorks also.

Some porn on the desktop? That would work.

Both, definitely both. It just wouldn't be the same without them both there. That would be so hot!

u could buy a second eMac, stick em together and whack on a huge sized bra... now where to find a bra that big?
Right here:
Bust Stop
I think I heard about this on Maury or something like that, kinda crazy if you ask me.
get some sliver paint and BOOM, racing stripe! Given the color of the iMac, you could also get an "RZ" decal and slap it on. That would be too cool.
For those of you who drive recips and don't know shit from shit , the "RZ" is a super-cool version of the Rx-7 that came only in white.
Damn, I want to buy an eMac now.
I was going to pick one up a year or so ago but the desplay model at my local apple reseller had some CRT problems which turned me off from the purchase. So instead I just built another PC.
